Severn Hospice’s popular Classic Vehicle Rally is set to return to Attingham Park on August 12.

The annual event sees hundreds of classic and vintage vehicles park on the front lawn of the National Trust property to be admired by fellow enthusiasts and members of the public.

David Sear, organiser of the rally and member of Severn Hospice said: “Our Classic Vehicle Rally at Attingham Park is a wonderful day for all involved.

"It’s a great opportunity for enthusiasts to get together and show their vehicles, while raising money for such an important local charity. On the day vehicles will travel through the Shropshire lanes arriving at Attingham Park for midday.

“There will be some true classics on display. It’s not very often you get such a wide variety of vehicles on show so I would urge members of the public to make the most of this opportunity and come have a look.

“We would like to thank the National Trust and all the staff and volunteers at Attingham Park for their continued support with the event.”

The display, which will be open to the public between 12pm and 4pm, is free of charge for spectators but normal entry fees to Attingham Park apply.

Since the rally began it has raised more than £26,000 for the charity.
