The 10-track record was laid down with renowned producer Tom Gittins at Warwickshire studios Monochrome Productions, whose previous credits include Robert Plant and Broken Witt Rebels.

Rainbreakers have been hailed as one of the freshest new sounds having developed a distinctive sound that embodies a fusion of rock, blues, pop and soul.

A spokesperson for the band said: "The band are particularly fascinated with the sounds of the past, ranging from soul melodies and psychedelic sounds to garage-rock riffs and R&B grooves.

"Face to Face demonstrates the band's progression as songwriters and musicians. The songs shift between gritty to delicate in an instant while the melodic and pop-like hooks combined with the raw and garage-esque backdrop, forge an inspiring combination.

"This debut album depicts a particularly tumultuous part of lead singer Ben Edwards’ life. Although the situations may be extremely personal, they are problems that we all face in life. This record takes us through the journey of one man’s struggle to bring those problems into the forefront of his life and face them head on.

"Ben’s own struggle with depression and anxiety was the inspiration for the album’s lead single Heavy Soul, but this struggle with emotions is the backdrop for the entire album, whether that is struggling with your own emotions or dealing with potentially harmful relationships."

Fans will be able to hear the material when Rainbreakers appear in their hometown at Albert's Bar on October 19.
