Just Bank Holiday Monday tickets left for Shrewsbury Folk Festival
The stage is set for the annual Shrewsbury Folk Festival which will see thousands of music fans descend on the town from Friday.
Weekend tickets are sold out and there are just a few tickets remaining for Bank Holiday Monday.
Organiser Jo Cunningham expects more than 7,000 visitors from all over the world, including New Zealand, California and Belgium.
She said: "We have five big stages being built, the food tent is up, the glamping area is up and there is lots of preparation works going on.
"There is an army of volunteers doing 1,001 jobs. It's unbelievable how many things there are to do before the gates to the campsite open at 7am on Friday."
With more than 76 hours of music across the three main stages along with a dedicated dance programme and a fun packed standalone kids and youth festivals, the festival promises to be one to remember.
Broadcast
There will also be dozens of workshops, a craft fair in the open air Village Stage, music sessions, dance displays and parades, food from around the world, real ale and a cocktail and Prosecco bar.
Jo said: "If people have missed out on tickets, plenty of music from the main stages will be broadcast live on our website free of charge.
"There will also be music sessions and displays in the town centre and a dance parade on Saturday from the library to The Square, so there is lots of ways people can join in.
"Hopefully they will get a taste of what it's like and maybe come to the festival one year."
She said the event is also a big boost for the town with hotels and restaurants booking up fast.
"We have a world class event right on our door step," she added. "People come from all over the world but also from Shrewsbury too. It's a big boost for tourism."
