Class acts for Shrewsbury night spot

A Shrewsbury night spot has a packed programme of events for the new year.

After the success of her recent sold out tours, Norwegian songstress Silje Nergaard will be on stage at The Henry Tudor House, Barracks Passage on February 11.

Her latest album ‘For You A Thousand Times’ was released in Europe to critical acclaim in 2017 and Silje will be performing tracks from this alongside songs that span the length of her 25 year career.

Also set to perform is Beth Rowley who will be at the venue on February 17 as part of her Tracing the Line tour.

Discovered by Dermot O'Leary on his Radio 2 show, Jake Morrell is set to appear on February 24. He has performed at Glastonbury and his song Wire & Thorns reached number 2 in the iTunes country charts on the first day of its release.

A new comedy club will be on February 20 and will feature Tony Law and Danny McLoughlin with MC Dan Nightingale.

Following a sold out award nominated run in Edinburgh, Ken Cheng will bring his song Best Dad Ever to Shrewsbury on March 6.
