East 17, S Club and 5ive set to party for Telford's 50th birthday

East 17, S Club and 5ive will come to Telford for one night only as part of the town’s anniversary celebrations.

Nineties band East 17 are coming to Telford

The 90s pop bands will perform in the temporary Big Top Theatre at Telford Town Park this summer as part of a fortnight of performances that also include tenor Russell Watson, Dara O’Briain, Boyzlife and Al Murray.

East 17 will open the show, with original members John Hendy and Terry Coldwell being joined on stage by Ivor Novello award winning singer Robbie Craig.

Former boy band 5ive will play hits from their million selling albums second.

S Club will round out the evening with their catalogue of hit singles ranging from Don’t Stop Moving through to Never Had A Dream Come True. The band have had huge chart success worldwide. After a brief reunion with all seven original members, S Club now consists of Jo O’Meara, Bradley McIntosh and Tina Barrett.

The three groups will perform in Telford Town Park on August 15.
