The Black Country star turned out for this year's production of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs – and posed with actors afterwards.

Our Bev was full of praise for the stars of the production, which runs until February 2 at the Hurst Street venue.

She later posted on social media: "Loved it! Matt Slack as ever was just awesome, Doreen Tipton is brilliant as is Lesley Joseph."

The singer also praised former X Factor winner Joe McElderry and Flawless as well as the rest of the cast, adding: "Thank you for having us all and happy 120th birthday!"

Birmingham Hippodrome tweeted: "Fabulous to welcome Beverley Knight and family back to pantoland this afternoon."

This year's production, which stars Laurence Olivier Award nominee Lesley Joseph as the Wicked Queen, has been met with rave reviews.

It also stars Birmingham panto favourite Matt Slack, who returned for a seventh consecutive year, starring as Muddles.

Joe McElderry appears as the Spirit in the Mirror, with actor Faye Brookes – best known for her role in Coronation Street – taking on the title role.

Other cast members include Flawless as The Wicked Queen's Men, Andrew Ryan as Nanny Annie Aspirin, Jac Yarrow as The Prince, and lastly the self-proclaimed Queen of the Black Country, Doreen Tipton as the Lady in Waiting.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is produced by Qdos Entertainment, with performances running until February 2.
