Soulton Hall open air theatre in Wem is hosting Relatively Speaking, directed by Robin Case, and the first shows were on Thursday. But, due to the weather, and because audience numbers safely allowed it, the show moved indoors.

The group are doing two shows today and two shows tomorrow - at 2pm and 6pm on both days - before the run comes to an end. The remaining shows are expected to go on outside.

Robin said: “Last year in lockdown, Tim Ashton at Soulton Hall built the open-air theatre to help give actors a chance to make some money. I thought I would love to help and provide some work for struggling actors, and I’ve got a terrific cast.

“It’s a witty, garden comedy which is just right for the open air theatre."

The cast is made up of Shrewsbury’s Adrian Monahan and Rosie Byrd of Bishop’s Castle, as well as Londoners Victoria Porter and Tom Thornhill.
