Thank you to our MP, parish councillors, town councillors, Shropshire Council planners, doctors, NHS Trust etc. for their idiotic decision to build Shifnal's new medical centre on the outskirts of the town - albeit some form of pathetic bus service is promised.

What has happened to the fine words in the Shropshire Council's Core Strategy Policy Directions Executive Summary (page 17) — Transport and Accessibility is to promote sustainable communities by facilitating access to services, particularly to reduce the needs to travel and in Draft 6 of their consultation document page 28 Issue 6 — It is vital that local people have the opportunity to say how they feel about services they use!

I eagerly await to comment on the planning application for the new medical centre.
