Elton John Shrewsbury concert heads for a sell-out

A concert by Sir Elton John at Shrewsbury Town's Greenhous Meadow Stadium on June 12 is on course to be a sell-out.

Fans are now being urged to get in quick while tickets are still available, with a further rush of orders expected before Christmas.

Ian Bebbington, commercial operations manager at the club, said: "We are well on course for the concert to be a sell-out.

"We've had strong sales of tickets, demand hasn't tapered off."
