Letter: Does weather prove global warming is a myth?

Letter: Joseph Goebbels, Hitler's propaganda minister, once said that if you repeat a lie often enough, people will start to believe it.

That has happened here with the myth of "global warming", peddled by the "green lobby", which stands to make huge amounts of money from "alternative energy".

Well, it nearly worked, because of the succession of milder winters we had, which seemed to confirm their lies.

However, this is now recognised as a normal fluctuation of temperatures, and nothing to do with "carbon emissions".

So forget about climate change, sack all the "warmists" and reopen the coal mines.
