Letter: Today I heard on the radio an interview with Mr Morgan, nanaging director of Morgan Cars, the only independent car manufacturer in the country.
He stated for car design and technology we lead the world but this won't last unless we manufacture on a large scale ourselves.
The problem is governments dragging their feet and the banks not investing in this country. They'd sooner get quicker returns all over the world.
We must work our way out of recession not depend on the crumbs of the multi-national banks and insurance companies in this nation, in which we, the people of Britain, have a large ownership.
If we depend on imports, once they have the monopoly, they will squeeze and squeeze till you're dry. Painful.
