Letter: Six pounds to park? I won't visit Shrewsbury again

Letter: I had a lovely few hours shopping in Shrewsbury town centre on a Sunday recently.

I parked in the multi-storey, and planned on shopping for a couple of hours. I had a lovely lunch at Alayners Sandwich Bar in Riverside and bought a few bits and bobs.

I got back to my car, without realising I had just gone over the three hours. Wow! What an expensive mistake: £6 yes £6 to park my car for just over three hours.

Needless to say it will be the last time I shop in Shrewsbury town centre. What I bought would have been cheaper off the internet and paying the postage.

So, may I say, Shrewsbury town centre rest in peace.
