Letter: Jobless could be paid to clear roadside litter

I would just like to take this opportunity to inform the appropriate people at Telford & Wrekin and Shrewsbury and Atcham councils, plus the appropriate people at the Highways Agency that I am part of a large group of unemployed people in this area who would gladly be paid to help pick up the colossal amount of rubbish that seems to be adorning our roadsides at the moment.

Basically because the people you are paying to do it obviously have forgotten how to.
