Letter: New Riverside jobs great, but what about existing?
We hear a lot about the £150 million pound project to produce a new riverside centre. This will create 'X' number of jobs for the town. I say 'great', having myself spent a while unemployed.

We hear a lot about the £150 million pound project to produce a new riverside centre. This will create 'X' number of jobs for the town. I say 'great', having myself spent a while unemployed.
But what about the people that are going to be made redundant/unemployed when they do decide to take the existing buildings down? Are they still going to be employed while they re-do the riverside?
Don't think so.
