A production company has been appointed to run the second T Live in Telford Town Park Arena.

The Liz Hobbs Group is gearing up for a series of exciting announcements, following on from the success of last year's launch, which was headlined by McFly.

This year's offering is expected to be on a "bigger scale" and as the £250 million Southwater nightlife and leisure scene will be up and running, organisers are anticipating a weekend to remember.

With the new Premier Inn hotel just a stroll away from the action, it is hoped music fans will come flooding into Telford from across the region.

LHG Ltd was appointed as the official production management company for the event following a detailed tender process. The firm has a proven track record producing events and festivals for 20 years.

Rupert Doogan-Hobbs, LHG's operations director, said: "We are very excited to be working closely with Telford & Wrekin Council to make T-Live a big success. The Town Park Arena is a fantastic venue and ideally suited to a major music event like T-Live. Telford as a town is a perfect location for an event of this nature, with its quality transport connections, increased hotel capacity and also added advantage of the nearby new Southwater development.

"We are in the advanced stages of talking to headline acts for the 2014 event and will be making some major announcements in the next few weeks – including line-up, when it will take place and how and when people can buy tickets."
