Telford man hopes for out-of-court deal after getting cholera on holiday
A holidaymaker said today he is hoping for an out-of-court settlement from travel giant Thomas Cook after launching legal action claiming his romantic getaway was ruined when he contracted potentially fatal cholera.

Tim Warner, 47, and partner Amanda had booked a 12-day break to Tunisia in September.
But their £1,488 all-inclusive trip turned into a nightmare when Mr Warner fell ill.

When his symptoms failed to subside a week after he returned home Mr Warner was taken to hospital and was stunned to discover he had contracted sewage-born disease cholera.
Mr Warner, an architect of Madeley, Telford, has instructed law firm Slater & Gordon to launch a civil case.
He said: "We hope to go for an out-of-court settlement."
A spokeswoman for Thomas Cook said the company was liaising with his legal team.
On Saturday the Shropshire Star carried a photograph incorrectly captioned as Mr Warner.
