Shropshire police raids signal start of campaign
Drugs raids that saw 17 arrests across Shropshire were the start of a campaign to promote confidence in the police force.

Superintendent David Mcwilliam, local policing area commander for Shropshire, said the police operations included providing education and awareness on crime risks.
Following the arrests on Thursday, a number of people have been released on police bail.
A 38-year-old woman, arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled drug in Whitehouse Gardens, Shrewsbury has been bailed to appear at a police station at a later date.
A 43-year-old man, arrested in King Street, Oswestry on suspicion of possession of a controlled drug after suspected class A drugs were seized, has been bailed to appear to appear at a police station at a later date.
Also bailed to appear at a police station at a later date was a 37-year-old man from Shrewsbury, arrested on suspicion of a burglary at a home in Whitehouse Gardens, Shrewsbury.
A 20 year-old man, arrested in Wellsfield, Woodside, Telford, on suspicion of possession of a class B drug with intent to supply, has been bailed to appear at a police station at a later date.
A 29 year-old man from Hadley, arrested on suspicion of class A and B drugs with intent to supply, has been bailed to appear at a police station at a later date.
A woman arrested in possession of a controlled drug and theft following the search of a property in King Street, Dawley was cautioned.
