Crew tackles trees and grass on fire in Telford

Fire fighters were called out to a fire involving trees in Telford today.

A crew from Telford Central was sent to the scene at Station Road, in Dawley, at around 2pm.

It took the crew about 15 minutes to put the fire out.

A spokesman for Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service, said: "We were called to a fire that involved approximately 10 square metres of grass and undergrowth, our crew used one hosereel jet to put the fire out."
