Cameras were rolling at the antiques market at Park Hall Showground in Oswestry over the weekend.

The Amulet Fairs event, which ran on Saturday and Sunday, saw all sorts of hidden treasures on show at the market.

Sheila Jackson, market organiser, said: "It has gone really well, we are really pleased.

"I think a few of the stallholders were put off by the weather but it has actually been OK so quite a few more are coming through now. Bargain Hunt are here as well, they are doing their filming so that is really good."

At the fair, experts Anita Manning and Richard Madley were offering their advice, while the BBC show's presenter Tim Wonnacott oversaw the sales and hunts for the best buy.

Ms Jackson said: "We see them in the morning usually and then they carry on filming and get on with what they need to do.

"It is nice having them here because it does attract more people I think. We put it all on the adverts so people know they are coming. It is really good. And we are having them at our event in September as well, so we are looking forward to welcoming them back."

The popular antiques event is held throughout the year and regularly sees hundreds of collectors descend on the showground, and for the first time in May the event visited Bridgnorth.

Gabrielle Stephens, who also organises the event, said: "The weather has been fine, so we are pleased.

"We have probably had a couple thousand sellers here today."

The next one will be held at Park Hall Showground in Oswestry on September 26 and 27.
