Letter: Thanks for care at A&E
I would like to just say a big thank you to the staff at the A&E department at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital who where on duty on Saturday, January 16.
They looked after me after I had a bad fall very early on that morning on the ice while walking to work. We hear a lot of negative comments about the NHS and I just wanted to say how great our NHS is.
My tale has two sides. This has been the positive out of what was a difficult morning for me. The negative being walking to work early in a morning on side streets with no lights and no salt!
I am now on the mend and still off work and will be for a while yet.
My wish is that the local council could see fit to have more lights on earlier in morning especially when we know there will be ice about.
