Letter: Cash for NHS just another Brexit lie

So when can we expect the £350 million a week going to the NHS? Will it be in six months, two years' time? Of course we all know the truth is never.

The Brexiteers have done a moonlight flit because they do not want to be around when the rent collector arrives. This mass co-ordinated resignations tell us that their pledges were lies and misled many voters with their stunts.

So to Mr Cameron who called one bluff too many; he is a disgrace, he must not be allowed to escape his share of the blame when the ship goes aground.

How did we allow these cheerleaders to jeopardise our future.

More so for our debt-ridden young people. How did we allow the baby boomer generation that voted to leave the EU think we would live happily ever after? But we are where we are in our political evolution.

The Government must now achieve the best possible trade arrangements with the EU, and further afield any delay would prolong uncertainty, because business chiefs are feeling anxious, because Brexit is bad for them.

HSBC has said it may have to move jobs to Paris, the Institute of Director found 64 per cent of its members said the result would be good for their companies, 24 per cent are planning to freeze recruitment and 22 per cent are thinking of moving some operations overseas.

I do hope Britain will not pay for these hypocrites who have peddled their lies.
