When will your bins be emptied in Shropshire and Mid Wales?
Heavy snow and ice caused major disruption to waste and recycling collections this week. When will your bin be collected.
Councils say they are beginning the task of catching up with collections but it may take a while.
Shropshire Council said this morning: "Please leave your refuse bins out for the scheduled collection.
"If not emptied on your collection day then leave out until they are/until further notice.
"Recycling will need to be brought back in, if not collected. This will then be collected on the next recycling scheduled day."
Telford & Wrekin Council said: "Collections are being disrupted by the bad weather and icy conditions. Residents are advised to put containers due to be collected out on their usual collection day, if it is safe to do so.
"If crews don’t manage to collect on your scheduled day, please leave your red top bin, purple top bin and your blue bag out in a safe place and they will be collected as soon as possible.
"If your green bin isn’t collected, please take it back in and put it out on your next scheduled collection date."
Powys County Council said: "Residual waste (black bin) collections will take place two days later than usual for Powys households due a collection this week.
"The council will now move residual waste collections back by two days for all households in the county and will start collecting later on Wednesday morning.
"This week’s recycling and food waste collections have been suspended and will not be collected."
