Fears raised over homes plan near 'narrow Telford road with hairpin bend'

Plans for homes near a 'narrow road with hair pin bend' have raised fears of drivers having to take their lives into their hands when they have to deal with parking on the carriageway.

But potential developers believe that they have a winning argument to build five two storey homes in Lightmoor because a similar plan on the area was granted permission  three years ago. 

The site at Brick Kiln Bank has been identified as one that could take five homes even though it is on a wildlife site and is part of the Telford Green Network.

The 0.37 acre site used to be the car park of the former Ibstock Brickworks and a similar plan was granted in 2021 but did not get built.

Objector Graham Morgan has told planners that 'perfectly sound objections' have been raised on two previous occasions and still remain.
