Daljit Singh, 48, of Chancery Park, Priorslee, Telford, appeared at Shrewsbury Crown Court where he denied one charge.

The charge is of 'communicating false information', specifically accusing Singh of making a false claim to another person that a bomb was present at Telford Shopping Centre on August 25 last year.

The count was put to Singh, with the 48-year-old replying 'not guilty' when asked to affirm his plea.
