The display at the West Mid Showground takes place later today, with two spectacular displays as well as entertainment.
But organisers issued a warning on social media.
“We have been made aware that several fraudulent Facebook accounts are attempting to resell tickets for the Fireworks and Bonfire Spectacular. To ensure your purchase is safe, please buy tickets only through our official ticket link.”
Tickets can be bought online at https://tickets.westmidshowground.co.uk/events/1297/bonfire-firework-spectacular
Organiser also warned people to be wary of newly created social media accounts with little or no interaction or followers; unusual language or spelling mistakes; and to never share sensitive information via direct message.
“We’re actively working to remove such comments from our platforms, but please remain vigilant. If you have any doubts, contact us directly via private message,” organisers said.
They added: “Year after year, we deliver one of the best fireworks displays in the country, and this year is no exception! Brace yourselves for not one, but two jaw-dropping fireworks displays and live musical entertainment that will set the night on fire!
“A huge thank you to sponsor, DMOS People who support us here at the showground as our showground sponsor and are committed to elevating our events!
“Let’s make this bonfire night one to remember!
“Tickets are selling fast - don’t miss out on the biggest event of the season! Secure your spot online now and be sure to print your ticket or download it to your device for quick and easy entry.”
