Emergency services called to 'serious' collision near Oswestry involving multiple vehicles
Three people were taken to hospital after a serious crash involving multiple vehicles on a major Shropshire A road near Oswestry.

Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service (SRFS), West Mercia Police and Land Ambulance attended the collision involving four vehicles on the A5 Junction of Weirbrook, near West Felton last night (Sunday).
Police urged drivers to find alternative routes after announcing that the road was closed in both directions due to the incident.
SRFS received a call at 6.26pm reporting the road traffic collision. Three fire crews including the rescue tender were sent to the scene from Baschurch, Ellesmere and Shrewsbury fire stations.
An operations officer also attended.
A man was treated for non-life threatening injuries at the scene before being taken to Royal Shrewsbury Hospital as well as a woman and a passenger.
A West Midlands Ambulance statement said: "We were called to reports of a multi-vehicle RTC at the junction of the A5 and Holyhead Road, Oswestry at 6.21pm on Sunday (November 3).
"Two ambulances and a paramedic officer attended the scene.
"The driver of a car, a man, was assessed and treated on scene for non-life threatening injuries. He was conveyed to Royal Shrewsbury Hospital for further checks.
"A woman, a passenger in a vehicle involved, also sustained injuries and received treatment at the roadside before being taken to the same hospital. Four other occupants were assessed but no one else was injured."
The fire service reported that nobody was trapped inside a vehicle, and the incident concluded at 7.24pm.
A post by Ellesmere Fire Station said: "At 6.29pm we were mobilised with colleagues from Baschurch station to a multi-vehicle collision on the A5.
"On arrival, we were pleased to find that, despite significant damage, occupants had been able to exit their cars unaided. Crews worked with partner agencies and made vehicles electrically safe."
A West Mercia Police Facebook post on Sunday added: "Please be aware that due to a serious road traffic collision, the A5 is closed in both directions near West Felton, with queueing traffic from Gamester's Lane (Weirbrook) to B5009 (Queens Head)."
According to the AA Traffic website, the road has re-opened and there are no queues.
