The council recently met to discuss the town, its facilities, things that need further work and new projects they could work on.

Deputy Mayor Councillor Martin Woolford said he had taken notes on the day and he would put them into a document to remind members of the discussions.

“No decisions were made, it was just items for discussion but I felt it was very worthwhile,” he said.

Kington Mayor Councillor Phillip Sell said the first part of the meeting was about what makes Kington special and there were many things as they drew up a list. He said they then thought about what the council needs to do further work on and then some things they do not do currently, which they could do including ideas such as a community bus and dark skies project.
