Kington will look its festive best when its Christmas lights are switched on at the end of this month.

Pizzas, hot chocolate and hot gin and tonics will warm up residents as they enjoy the annual spectacle.
The event organised by Kington Town Council and Kington Chamber of Trade will take place on Wednesday, November 27 from 5.30pm.
It will be held at the Market Hall, Place De Marines and the Coach House.
Santa will arrive at about 5.30pm and he will be in the grotto at the Coach House, kindly made by J and P Turner, until 6.45pm
The town’s Christmas lights will be switched on by Kington’s post master Tim Allen at approximately 7pm, the organisers have said.
Pizzas will be provided by M and S woodfired pizza situated in Cloud Nine Health and Leisure Centre, and Border Bean Cafe will be providing mince pies and Penrhose Spirits will be supplying gin for the hot gin and tonics.
Carol singing will be provide by ETC from Llandrindod Wells before and after the switch on and chairman of Kington Chamber of Trade Emma Hancocks said; “We encourage everyone to stay and take part in this lovely community event.”
