'Abandoned' Alfa Romeo with no tax or insurance seized from Bridgnorth gym car park

Police have seized an abandoned Alfa Romeo car from a gym car park in Bridgnorth.

West Mercia Police PCSO for Bridgnorth Town, Amanda Leek posted on the force's Neighbourhood Matters page reporting the seizure on Wednesday evening.

Officers seized what appears to be a white Alfa Romeo car that was "abandoned" from The Gym Club's car park.

The vehicle had no valid tax or insurance.

The post said: "This evening Bridgnorth Safer Neighbourhoods team seized a vehicle which had been abandoned on The Gym Club car park in Bridgnorth.

"The vehicle had no tax or insurance so we were able to Seize it under DVLA powers. 

"If you have any concerns that a vehicle has no Tax please contact bridgnorth.snt@westmercia.police.uk giving location and vehicle details. We will be able to do any relevant checks and get the vehicle seized."
