Emergency services called to deal with diesel leak from vehicle

Emergency services were called to a Shropshire lane after reports of diesel leaking from a vehicle.

The Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service received a call at 12.46pm reporting the incident on Rowe Lane near Much Wenlock and Bridgnorth.

One fire crew was sent from Much Wenlock Fire Station to the scene. West Mercia Police and a highways team from Shropshire Council also attended.

Firefighters used small gear and and an environmental pack to stop the diesel leak from a vehicle.

The incident was left in the hands of police and the highways team, and concluded at around 1.27pm.
