Alexander Westwood, of Holyhead Road, Albrighton, is charged with 26 sexual crimes against two children, a boy and a girl, and pupils in his acting class.
The 24-year-old, who starred in BBC Drama Doctors, is standing trial at Wolverhampton Crown Court which is set to last at least a month due to the amount and complicated nature of the allegations.
The first week of the trial will concern the sexual abuse he is accused of routinely undertaking against a young girl, four years his junior, for seven years.
The court heard there were "hundreds of incidents, once or twice a week" over the years but there are ten counts concerning the girl.
