A resident living two doors down from a terraced property on Holyhead Road in Ketley that was partly destroyed in an astonishing crash has spoken to the Shropshire Star about their experience.

Considerable damage to both the house and car was revealed when the BMW was extracted from the house on Thursday.

Workers have been on site throughout this week to prepare the home for the car's extraction and made the scene as safe as possible.

Steel frames were installed to support the house's structure as well as surrounding barriers and boards.

The scene has been covered up.
