Estate agents and property experts Noble Living have recommended their 'best places to live in Shropshire'. The list includes historic towns across the county with ideal destinations for foodies or spectacular views.

An article by Jade Ata for Noble Living said: "Whether you prefer exploring the great outdoors in the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) or discovering the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution at Ironbridge Gorge, there’s an abundance of activities to suit your taste. With so much to see and experience, Shropshire is an ideal place to live."

Here are Shropshire's best places to live according to Noble Living.

Much Wenlock

The article begins describing Much Wenlock as the "perfect" place to live in the county.

It adds that the "charming market town is a step back in time, with its winding streets and ancient timber-framed buildings".

The town is home to Wenlock Priory, a 12th-century monastery in ruins, that managed by English Heritage.

The town's museum also provides a great insight into how the town helped give birth to the modern Olympic Games.

Ludlow - "Ideal destination for foodies"

Noble Living described Ludlow as the "ideal destination for foodies looking to settle in the Shropshire Hills".
