Find out where the latest Shropshire road closures are as broadband cables are laid and pipes are fixed

Several roads in Shropshire will be closed this week as broadband cables are laid, water pipes are fixed and work is carried out on new housing developments.

Traffic will be prohibited from using Leigh Road, Minsterley until November 25 while work is undertaken in connection with a Shingler Homes development, Upper House Farm.

Vehicles are also unable to use the main road between Cardington and Wall Under Heywood until December 11 due to a collapsed culvert.

The B4364 between Neenton and Cleobury North will be closed from 9.30am to 3.30pm on November 24 for National Grid workers to trim the trees.

Traffic will be unable to use the B5479 from Selattyn to Pant-Glas, Oswestry from 9.30am to 3.30pm on November 20 so broadband workers can install fibre cables.

Lower Pulley Lane in Bayston Hill, Shrewsbury will be closed for two days from Monday, November 18 so BT can carry out remedial works.

Traffic will be prohibited from using Beamish Lane, Albrighton, also from November 18 but for five days. The road will be closed while National Grid workers carry out 67m of trenching.

Continuing the theme of roadworks starting this Monday, Richmond Drive in Shrewsbury will be closed for nine days while Cadent Gas engineers carry out an excavation to remediate gas valves.

And traffic will be prohibited from using an unnamed road in Lower Wood, Leebotwood, near Church Stretton for 30 days due to storm damage.
