Shifnal wedding venue hopes to become full-time hotel
A wedding venue in Shifnal has asked for permission to operate as a hotel and increase their guest capacity.

Stockton House in Shifnal was granted permission to become a wedding venue in September 2020 and has been welcoming wedding parties since August 2022.
The Georgian Grade II listed country manor is part of the Apley Estate, and just a year after it opened was named Best Venue in the West Midlands at the Wedding Industry Awards' regional awards.
But now, the owners wish to increase the maximum number from 100 to 120 guests at each wedding event and to use the building as a hotel when it is not in use for weddings.
