Shropshire A-road to close this week for 'emergency' barrier repairs
A major Shropshire A-road will be closed in both directions this week for "emergency" barrier repairs.

Shropshire Council has announced that the A41 will be closed overnight between Prees Heath and Tern Hill on the night of Friday, November 22 to Saturday, November 23.
Work will take place between 7pm and 6am, and the road will be closed between these times.
The county council said a signed diversion will be in place, and that access/egress for properties and businesses within the closure will be "maintained when safe to do so". The local authority added that depending on vehicle type, road users may be able to choose an alternative diversion route.
An announcement said: "The A41 will be closed in both directions between Prees Heath and Tern Hill on the night of Friday 22 to Saturday 23 November 2024 - for emergency barrier repairs."
Shropshire Council has reminded residents that all planned roadworks are subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.
