Many parts of the country woke up to their first taste of winter this morning following yesterday's warnings for icy weather.
With many roads under a couple of inches, several schools in the region have decided to shut - resulting in a snow day for students.
The yellow weather warning for snow and ice is set to be in place across Shropshire until 11am on Tuesday.
It's not all that often Shropshire gets a covering - so we've been out and about taking photographs and compiling some of yours.
