The latest flurry of snow has us all feeling nostalgic, so we've taken a look through the archives to find some stunning pictures of Shropshire in the snow through the years.
The blizzard of early 1982 gets its own special mention. It began to snow on January 7 and didn't stop for more than 36 hours. Parts of the country saw snow 60cm deep and drifts of over three metres high.
During that time, England recorded its lowest-ever temperature right here in Shropshire - Newport got down to a staggering -26.1C.
