A man who died as a result of a road traffic collision on November 16 has been named by his family as Rhys Jenkins, 41, from Glynneath.

Mr Jenkins was travelling along the A483 near Welshpool with his nine-year-old son when his Toyota Yaris was involved in a collision with two other vehicles: a red BMW X3 and a blue Audi S4.

Sadly, Mr Jenkins died at the scene. His son remains in hospital recovering from his injuries.

Paying tribute to him, his family said: "Rhys was a devoted husband, father and family man and his loss is absolutely devastating for us all.

"We are thankful for the support we have received since this truly awful incident and continue to be comforted by the well wishes.

"As a family we would be grateful to now be afforded the time to grieve."

Mr Jenkins' family also requested the tribute be reproduced in Welsh: "Roedd Rhys yn ŵr, tad a dyn teulu ffyddlon ac mae ei golled yn gwbl ddinistriol i ni gyd.

"Rydym yn ddiolchgar am y gefnogaeth a gawsom ers y digwyddiad gwirioneddol ofnadwy hwn ac yn parhau i gael ein cysuro gan y dymuniadau da.

"Byddem fel teulu yn ddiolchgar i gael amser i alaru yn awr."
