Oswestry marketing expert to guide charity sector on promoting its work
An Oswestry marketing consultan will be helping charities and social enterprise organisations to highlight their work at a special free event organised by the Shropshire Growth Hub.
Ruth Martin, of Martin & Jones Marketing, is the guest speaker at the Social Enterprise Network Christmas event on December 4 when she will be helping charities, community groups and social enterprise businesses promote their social value.
She said that it was more important than ever for not-for-profit organisations to clearly communicate their role and value within the communities they served.
“Telling the story of what you do and the impact this has on your community is key to ensuring the sustainability of your organisation," Ruth said.
“It’s really important for your organisations to be able to explain their value and role within society in order to communicate what you do to funders, volunteers, potential service users and the wider community,” she said.
Ruth has built up her expertise working with charities and community interest companies across Shropshire through Martin & Jones Marketing and as a trustee of the Shropshire Community Foundation.
