Oswestry holiday park celebrates after landing four top awards
An Oswestry holiday park is celebrating after being given four prestigious industry awards by staycation specialist Hoseasons.
Henlle Hall Woodland Lodges was named Best in Britain for the quality of its food at the company’s 18th annual awards – a celebration of the holiday parks, lodge resorts and boating locations in its UK portfolio that have achieved the highest scores in independent guest satisfaction surveys throughout the 2024 season.
The park was also named Best Small Lodge Escape destination in the Heart of England for the third year in a row and won Customer Choice Food Award for Lodge Escape Destinations during the ceremony at the Hilton Metropole, in Birmingham.
Cosmo Lloyd, joint owner of Henlle Hall Woodland Lodges, was crowned Pioneer of the Year for his innovative approach to tourism.
Since opening Henlle Hall in 2014, Cosmo has designed and built 27 luxury staycation properties with his on-site team, including lodges, barn conversations, pods and stilted treehouses. The impressive treehouse designs feature spacious kitchens, open plan living spaces, cosy bedrooms, wood-burning stoves and verandas complete with a hot tub overlooking the surrounding forest.
He has also developed 12 unique micro-lodges at Henlle Hall’s sister site, Hidden Firs, which opened in 2023.
Cosmo Lloyd and Keeta Thomas, joint owners of Henlle Hall Woodland Lodges, said: “Winning one award is great, but winning four in one night is incredible.

Maesmawr Farm Resort smawr Farm Resort also triumphed on the night, picking up the award for Best Large Relax and Explore destination in Wales.
