The Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service received a call at 11.18pm reporting the incident at the property in Princess House, The Square.
One fire crew was sent from Shrewsbury Fire Station to the scene.
SRFS reported that flooding affected electric lighting and an air conditioner.
Firefighters isolated electrics and water and gave advice to the building owner.
The incident concluded at 12.22pm.
