Lines out of Shrewsbury railway station blocked after train breaks down
A train has broken down across a set of railway points just outside Shrewsbury station, blocking lines.

National Rail and Transport for Wales say disruption is expected until 4pm on Monday and services could be cancelled or delayed by up to half an hour.
A spokesperson for TfW said: “We have received reports that a train has broken down across a set of points just outside of Shrewsbury station.
“As a result, some services may be diverted to a different platform or not call at Shrewsbury station all together.
“We are currently waiting on a rescue locomotive to attach onto the broken down train and to clear the points.”
