Man rescued after vehicle gets stranded in water near Much Wenlock
A man had to be rescued from his vehicle after getting stranded in water.
The incident happened at a ford in Wigwig, near Much Wenlock last night.
A Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "At 8.57pm on Sunday, December 1, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as 'urgent' in Much Wenlock.
"One male and his vehicle stuck in a ford. Male was assisted to safety by water first responders."
Two fire engines were sent to the scene from Much Wenlock and Telford.
