'It means that everybody in the county feels valued' - Shropshire Mental Health Support unveils new outreach vehicle
A mental health service in Shropshire has unveiled its new support vehicle.

The idea behind the Shropshire Mental Health Support vehicle is to provide outreach to the county's vast rural areas.
Clive Ireland, the chairman of Shropshire Mental Health Support, said it was all about getting away from Shrewsbury-centred services.
“It means that everybody in the county feels valued and gets the support they need, when they need it,” he said.
The service, based in Abbey Foregate, Shrewsbury, has run a vehicle for the last two-and-a-half years which has proved the concept.
It was formerly known as Shropshire MIND and has been running for 50 years.
The new vehicle is supported by Hendra House Residential Home, Cyclone Sign and Print and The Rose Paterson Trust. Rose Paterson, wife of former North Shropshire MP Owen Paterson, died in 2020 and her death was later ruled a suicide by a coroner.
Shropshire Mental Health Support is dedicated to ensuring that mental health assistance is accessible to everyone in the community.
It aims to be advocates of raising awareness and improving services, as well as promoting a better understanding of mental health issues in Shropshire, ensuring that those in need are heard and supported.
