Motorcyclist killed in crash near Welshpool - police appeal for witnesses
Police are appealing for witnesses after a 21-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a crash over the weekend.
The crash took place on the A490 between Welshpool and Guilsfield, at around 1.45pm on Sunday (December 15).
A spokesman for Dyfed Powys Police said: "We are investigating a fatal road traffic collision involving a yellow Honda motorcycle, which occurred on the A490, between Welshpool and Guilsfield.
"Sadly, a 21-year-old man, who was riding the MSX 125 bike, died at the scene.
"His family are currently being supported by specialist officers.
"The road was closed for collision investigation and re-opened around 9.25pm on Sunday evening.
"Officers continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision and are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the bike travelling through Welshpool and Guilsfield shortly before the collision.
