'Really taken off' - New Bridgnorth street food restaurant is quickly proving popular, says owner
A new street food restaurant has quickly proved popular since opening in Bridgnorth.
Foodsnobs Bridgnorth has been attracting diners to 30 Northgate, an attractive three-storey period building, since being launched by owner Matthew Wilks last month.
Towler Shaw Roberts handled the letting of the premises, which extends in total to 1,386 sq ft.
A range of street food, including the restaurant’s renowned Biscoff fried chicken, is offered on the evening menu.
Earlier in the day, Foodsnobs Bridgnorth provides customers with a coffee menu and fresh bakery counter.
Owner Matthew said: “It’s taken off really well since we opened, every aspect of the business, from the coffee shop to the street food.
"We are predominantly a street food restaurant, but we’ve built a speciality coffee menu using Iron and Fire Coffee Roaster from Shrewsbury.
“We have a fresh bakery counter in the mornings, so we bake croissants and stuffed bakery goods - and then street food-style bagels.
“From 5pm it’s the night-time menu, which is our full street food menu.”
On why he decided to bring Foodsnobs to Northgate in the heart of Bridgnorth, Matthew added: “I wanted to create a contemporary chic interior inside a period building.
“Given the massive glass-fronted windows, I thought it would be an ideal place to showcase what we do.”
Josh Hyde, who handled the letting of the property for TSR, said: “It’s an attractive building, prominently located in Bridgnorth town centre, and provides well-appointed accommodation.
“We are pleased to have completed a letting to Matthew Wilks and wish him and the team at Foodsnobs Bridgnorth every success.
“The restaurant is another excellent addition to the town.”
