The West Arms in Llanarmon Dyffryn Ceiriog, just 10 miles west of Oswestry, has hit the market with a guide price of £575,000.

The listing presents an incredible opportunity to acquire the lovingly restored boozer, which is nestled within the Ceiriog Valley and boasts stunning views across the hills.

The Landwood Group, which has listed the Grade II listed, 16th-century pub, said it is surrounded by "spine-chilling sights", including Valle Crucis Abbey, once home to Cistercian monks and reportedly renowned for its eerie ghost sightings and mysterious apparitions of monks in solemn procession.

Moreover, just 10 miles away is the "notoriously haunted" Hand Hotel in Llangollen, an old coaching inn, where witnesses have reportedly said to have seen the ghost of a lady dressed in grey wandering around at night.
