'Significant' queues as A5 blocked following crash near Shrewsbury
Police have warned drivers of heavy traffic following a crash on the A5.
West Mercia Police was warning drivers to be aware of "significant traffic" building following a crash on the road just outside Shrewsbury.
The incident happened close to the Dobbies Garden Centre at Bayston Hill at around midday on Thursday.
Fortunately, nobody involved is thought to have been injured.
At around 1pm, a spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "Police are currently at the scene of a collision on the A5 in Shrewsbury, near to Dobbies Garden Centre at Bayston Hill.
"Whilst fortunately it appears no one was injured, the A5 is currently blocked and there is significant traffic building up in the area. Please seek alternative routes. Thank you for your patience."
