Police have been dealing with a collision, a break in at a house under renovation and an attack on sheep by two dogs in Kington in recent weeks.

In a report to the town council recently, Police Community Support Officer Felix Rawlinson said on November 25 police received a report of a collision on the junction out of Kington towards Lower Hergest.

He said the individual involved was found to be over the legal-blood-alcohol limit and was arrested for driving under the influence.

They received a report of a break in at the Lower Hergest area on December 4.

The report stated; “The property was under renovation and at this time it is not believed anything was stolen. The same property was also targeted the day before this. This is still an open investigation at this stage.”

The police also received a report of an attack on sheep by two dogs causing injury to the livestock on December 11. This is still an open investigation too.

Town councillors noted the incidents.
